tumblr’s recent downtime made me finally pull the trigger on moving this blog to my own server. I’ve been contemplating it for some time, but I really like tumblr. I hope they don’t lose too many people, as I think this is still a great platform with a (mostly) cool community. For me though, the control I get from hosting my own shit is invaluable. Plus then if it goes down it’s my fault and I can’t get mad at someone else.
